Given the growing population, and the decrease of arable land and drinking water in China, the demand for imported products from foreign countries is predicted to increase in the coming years. China’s population will need more and more high quality and safe products from around the world, while the industries will look for more environment friendly and cost effective equipments for their operations. Recent food safety scares across China have also made Western products extremely attractive to Chinese consumers.

Given these facts, agri-food, environment, transportation and high technology products equipments are among the most promising industries in China. While tier one cities such as Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen are still the biggest markets in China, smaller Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are emerging and becoming important players on the Chinese market.
